You will define an active Artifacts Lifecycle Policy that keeps artifacts in active storage forever or deletes artifacts after a specified number of days.
Artifacts Management Requests allow you to manage artifacts in storage for specific interactions. You create requests to do the following:
-
Add locks to the artifacts so they cannot be moved or deleted. This prevents an Artifacts Lifecycle Policy or user from modifying artifacts that need to be saved.
-
Remove existing locks from artifacts. This allows artifacts that were previously protected to be moved or deleted.
-
Delete artifacts from storage.
