About Artifacts Management

Artifacts Management allows you to manage the storage lifecycle of artifacts in a tenant for the following types of artifacts:

  • Email

  • Messaging Transcript

  • Screen Recording

  • Audio Recording subtype:

    • Conference Customer

    • Conference Agent

    • Conference External

    • IVR Snippet

    • Quality Management

You will define an active Artifacts Lifecycle Policy that keeps artifacts in active storage forever or deletes artifacts after a specified number of days.

Artifacts Management Requests allow you to manage artifacts in storage for specific interactions. You create requests to do the following:

    • Add locks to the artifacts so they cannot be moved or deleted. This prevents an Artifacts Lifecycle Policy or user from modifying artifacts that need to be saved.

    • Remove existing locks from artifacts. This allows artifacts that were previously protected to be moved or deleted.

    • Delete artifacts from storage.

To create or update artifact lifecycle policies, you must have a role with the ARTIFACTS_LIFECYCLE_POLICY_CREATE permission.

To view artifact lifecycle policies, you must have a role with the ARTIFACTS_LIFECYCLE_POLICY_READ permission.
