Creating Listeners
Listeners enable you to support multiple integrations of the same type on a single tenant. You can, for example, create a listener that points to a sandbox instance of your Salesforce instance and another one that points to your production instance.
You can set up listeners for Salesforce integrations.

Before you begin, make sure you have a Salesforce integration set up on the tenant.
To create a listener for a Salesforce integration:
- Select Configuration > Integrations.
- Click salesforce.
- Click the Add Listener icon (
).
- Set the following options:
- Name - The human-readable name of the listener in CxEngage.
- Active - Click this to enable the listener.
- Topic - The name of the Salesforce query or queue that notifies the listener of changes to a record.
- Type - The type of record in Salesforce that this integration handles (for example, case).
- Click Create.
