Customizing List Views

Customize lists (for example, in User Management, Configuration, or Flow) in CxEngage to show what you need and in the order you need it. You can customize how your list shows by sorting, filtering, adding or removing columns, or entering a search term.

Sorting Lists

Choose the order that your user list appears in by clicking the column's title. The column dictates the sorting order of the list with an arrow pointing up or down next to the column title. If the arrow is pointing down, the list is sorted numerically or alphabetically in descending order. If the arrow is pointing up, the list is sorted numerically or alphabetically in ascending order. For example, if the arrow next to the Name column points up , the list sorts alphabetically Z to A. If you click the Name heading so that the arrow points down , the lists sort alphabetically A to Z.

In User Management > Users, the Name column sorts alphabetically by the user's last name as it is entered in their user details.

Filtering Lists

To filter your list so only certain results show:

  1. Next to the column heading, click All.

Only columns that you can filter show All next to them.

  2. Choose which options you want to see in the columns.
    • Select the checkboxes for the options (for example, skill, groups, or status) you want to see in your list.
    • Clear the checkboxes for the options (for example, skill, groups, or status) you don't want to see in your list.

Only users that match the filtering show in the list. To remove the filtering, select the All checkbox for the specific column or click Clear all filters .

If you don't see users in your list that you are expecting to see, check to see if you have any filtering applied to your user list that would hide the user from the list. If Clear all filters shows at the top of the user list, there is filtering applied to the list.

Adding and Removing Columns

To choose which columns show in your user list:

  1. Click Columns to open the column selection menu.
  2. Choose the columns you want to show in the list:
    • Select the checkboxes for columns you want to show. The columns automatically appear as you select them.
    • Clear the checkboxes for columns you don't want to show. The columns are automatically removed as you clear the checkboxes.
  3. Click anywhere outside of the column selection menu to close it.

Searching in Lists

Refine your lists by entering text in the search box at the top of your list. As you type, the list shortens to show the items in the list that match what you have entered. Clear the search box or click Clear All Filters to return to the complete list.
