Delete Header Categories
You must have the default Administrator role or a custom role that includes the following permissions to delete header categories:
- Quality > Evaluations > Full Control
- Quality > Evaluation Forms > Full Control
To delete a Header Category:
- From the Manage Header Categories window, select or highlight a category to delete.
- Click Delete in the mini ribbon bar.
- If the Category is used in any saved evaluation form, then “This category is in use by one or more evaluation forms and cannot be deleted.” error is displayed. Select OK. The Category will not be deleted.
- If the Category is not selected in any saved evaluation form, then the user can delete the Category. Click Yes to confirm the deletion and return to the Manage Header Category window.
To delete a Header Category choice:
- From the Manage Header Categories window, select or highlight a Category choice to delete.
- Click Delete in the mini ribbon bar.
- If the Category choice has been selected in any Started or Completed evaluation, then “This category choice is in use by one or more evaluation forms and cannot be deleted” error is displayed. Select OK. This Category choice will not be deleted.
- If the Category choice has not been selected in any Started or Completed Evaluation, then the choice can be deleted. Click Yes to confirm the deletion and return to the Manage Header Category window. The choice will update across all active and inactive forms.
- If the Category is not selected in any saved evaluation form, then the user can delete the Category choice. Click Yes to confirm the deletion and return to the Manage Header Category window.
