Create Header Category Choices

You must have the default Administrator role or a custom role that includes the following permissions to create new header category choices:

  • Quality > Evaluations > Full Control
  • Quality > Evaluation Forms > Full Control

To add a drop-down menu choice to the new Header Category:

  1. From the Manage Header Categories window, select or highlight a category that needs a choice option.
  2. Click New Choice in the mini ribbon bar. The New Choice pop-up window will appear.
  3. Enter or copy/paste a choice that is associated with the category name.
  4. Click OK to save. The new header choice will be listed under the associated Header Category name in the Manage Header Categories tree.
    1. If the name already exists for this Header Category at any level, then “Choice already exists” error is displayed. Rename the Choice.
    2. If the Choice name was blank, then “Please review the highlighted errors” error will pop-up. Click OK. The Choice text field will be outlined in red.
  5. To add a second level or third level of hierarchy to a Header Category, highlight the Choice desired to add an additional level. Create a New Choice. Header Categories only support up to 3 levels of Choices.
  6. NOTE: Currently adding second and third level header choices are shown as a one-tiered drop down menu to the evaluator in the evaluation Header Information section. This known issue will be fixed in subsequent CxQM Quality versions.

  7. When the Manage Header Categories window appears, CxQM Quality highlights by default the selected Header Category not the new choice.
