Audit Trail Controls

You must have the default Administrator or Supervisor role or a custom role that includes the VIEW_AUDIT_TRAIL permission to use the Administration > Audit Trail tab and control buttons.

The Audit Trail tab window has a ribbon bar of controls to sort the list of audit messages, which can be very long in a busy contact center.

  • Refresh button: Used to refresh the Audit Trail log display.
  • Export Data button: Used to export Audit Trail records.

Under the ribbon bar is the Audit Trail window title bar. A ribbon bar named Show Details From: has the following sorting and display controls:

  • Show Details From: Drop-down calendar to select a listing From date.
  • To: Drop-down calendar to select a listing To date.
  • Activity Type: Select the type of audit messages to search for and display:
    • All: Display all audit message types.
    • Played Call: Display only Played Call messages.
    • Monitored Call: Display only Monitored Call messages.
    • Download Call Audio Only: Display only Downloaded Call Audio Only messages.
    • Download Video Only: Display only Download Video Only messages.
    • Download Audio & Video: Display only Download Audio and Video messages.
    • Completed Evaluation: Display only Completed Evaluation messages.
    • Modified Evaluation: Display only Modified Evaluation messages.
    • Deleted Evaluation: Display only Deleted Evaluation messages.
    • Deleted Form: Display only Deleted Form messages.
    • Call Emailed: Display only Call Emailed messages.
    • Logged On: Display only Logged On messages.
    • Logged Off: Display only Logged Off messages.
    • Deleted Call Audio Only: Display only Deleted Call Audio Only messages.
    • Deleted Video Only: Display only Deleted Video Only messages
    • Deleted Audio & Video: Display only Deleted Audio & Video messages.
    • Deleted All Media: Display only Deleted All Media messages.
    • Call Attached to Email: Display only Call Attached to Email messages.
    • Deleted User: Display only Deleted User messages.
    • Deleted Active Call: Display only Deleted Active Call messages.
  • Go button: Executes the search and lists the search results in the window.
  • Clear button: Clears the display of search results.

At the right-hand end of the ribbon bar, indicators are:

  • Results: Shows the number of records found matching the search criteria, such as the number of Played Call activities in a specific week.
  • No of Records: This setting limits the number of records to be displayed in the window. Default is 1000.
  • Go button: After changing the No of Records setting, click Go to update the window.
