Audit Trail Settings
You must have the default Administrator role or a custom role that includes the VIEW_SETUP permission to view or make changes to any Audit Trail Settings.
Audit Trail Settings allows administrators to hide up to three Activity types from the Administration > Audit Trail tab. Sometimes, these activity types could log a mass of event entries that may not be relevant to your deployment. For example, showing all user logon and logoffs could be prohibitive in a large contact center.
Select the events to hide:
- Check the box next any of the following to hide the event(s):
- Hide Logon/Logoff events (default is checked): If checked, hides all logon/logoff events. The Audit Trail automatically logs every user log on and off of the system. A company with a large number of users or a company that is not concerned with the log on and log off tracking feature may choose to check the box and hide this information. These events are not logged by default.
- Hide Modified Evaluation events (default is unchecked): If checked, any evaluation that has been modified after its original completion will be automatically hidden in the Audit Trail Log. Users with the Reports > Evaluation Reports permission can also run a Track Evaluation Changes report and get detailed information on which question’s answers were changed and by whom.
- Hide Completed Evaluation events (default is unchecked): If checked, any evaluation that has been completed will be automatically hidden in the Audit Trail Log.
- Click Save.
- When finished saving settings, go to the Playback URL Settings settings window in the Setup tab.
When one of the hide events checkboxes is selected, all previous log entries will remain in the Audit Trail Log. Any future events will not be shown in the Audit Trail Log.
