Delete Resources

It is not necessary to delete a resource from CxQM and in some situations it is best to leave the resource configured until there is no longer a need to search for calls by the resource description.

If a resource is deleted from CxQM, that resource description will no longer appear in any available resource lists such as the Playback tab custom search filter. This means calls cannot be found using the resource. However, a dialed number can be manually typed in the custom search to search for calls by a deleted dialed number.

For example, if a resource label and type for a Contact Point is deleted, the Contact Point will be removed from the following:

  • All Users whose Playback Permissions include the Contact Point: Administration > Users > Modify User > Permissions To Tab: Available Resources column.
  • All Recording Searches: Recordings > Playback > Custom Search > Resource Tab - Available Resources column.
  • All Evaluation Searches: Evaluation > Evaluations > Custom Search > Evaluation Log Search Criteria - Available Resources column.
  • All administration tasks in Administration » Resources tab as well as Administration » Playback Groups tab
  • All Saved Reports.
