Exporting Recording Records
You must have the default Administrator, Supervisor or Agent role or a custom role that includes the VIEW_PLAYBACK_CALLS permission to use the Recordings > Playback > Export Playback table feature.
Users may export recording record data from the Playback window into a Microsoft© Excel formatted file. For example, the user may wish to export the results of a specific search for records using a toll-free number or for the recordings of a specific agent.
To export the contents of a playback window:
- Obtain the interaction records to be exported in the Playback window table, typically through a search function.
- Select the No of Records desired to be exported. For example, if 2,014 records are needed, then input 2,014 in the No of Records field.
- On the Playback title bar, right-hand side, click the small export file (download) icon next to the Settings (sprocket) icon.
- The Export Playback Log window pops up with a default PlaybackLog_date_time.xls file name. Change the file name now or use the default.
- Click OK.
- The Microsoft© Excel file will download based on your browser settings.
- When ready, open the file you just created in Microsoft© Excel. All user-permitted column data with column headings will be available for the number of records that were designated in Step 1.
- Click one of the following to open or save the export file:
- Open: To immediately open the file.
- Save: To save the file.
- Save as: To save the file under another fie name.
- Save an open: To save and then open the file.
- Click one of the following to open and view the export file:
- Open: To open the file with Microsoft© Excel.
- Open with: To open the file with another spreadsheet application.
- Open folder: Open the folder where the file was saved.
- View downloads: To view the browser's View Downloads window.
