Run Scheduled Reports
You must have the default Administrator or Supervisor role or a custom role that includes the Reports > Evaluation Reports > Full Control permission to use the Reports tab to run evaluation reports.
Users will run a schedule for reports when selected from the Reports list using the Run Schedule button on the ribbon bar. Temporary modification of the report settings or filters is offered, if needed.
Reports can be run:
- As is, using their built-in settings and filters.
- After being temporarily modified with specific criteria by changing (but not saving) built-in settings and filters.
- After being modified, renamed and saved as new reports.
- After being copied, modified, renamed and saved as new reports.
Running a Scheduled Report
- Go to the Reports > Design tab.
- Locate and review the Schedule column. It provides the frequency of the report, such as daily, weekly or monthly.
- Double-click on or select to highlight the report in the Reports list to begin its scheduled reporting frequency.
- Click Run Schedule. This executes the report scheduler for this selected report.
- The report will not run until its scheduled run parameters are met, such as Daily at 09:00 hours. This report will run and output results on a dialy basis at 0900 hours.
- The results of the report, when complete, will be displayed as a new tab next to the Designs tab with the selected report's name.
- Make changes to the scheduled report as needed to get the results desired.
- If, after running the scheduled report a few times, the report configurations are set and the results meet the requirements, do one of the following:
- Click Save As and enter a new report name in the Save As text box. This creates a new report. The new, modified report will appear in the Reports list.
- Click Close to exit the reporting process without saving anything.
