Managing Dashboard Tabs in Historical Reporting
As you organize your dashboard tabs, you may want to rename a tab according to its purpose or remove a tab that is no longer needed. You can also rearrange tabs - for example, to group similar tabs together. You can manage a dashboard tab in the tab's Settings (
) menu.
Adding Tabs
To add a tab to your dashboard, click the plus sign (
) next to the last tab on the dashboard.
Rename Tabs
By default, tabs are named New Tab. You can rename them to help with organizing your data.
- Next to the existing tab name, click Settings (
). - Click Rename.
- Enter a tab name.
- Press Enter.
Moving Tabs
Click and drag a tab to move it to a different place in the sequence of tabs.
Remove Tabs
If you there is a tab that you added by accident or that you no longer need, you can delete it from your dashboard. Deleting a tab doesn't remove visualizations contained in it from the Visual Gallery.
- Click the tab that you want to delete.
- Next to the tab name, click Settings (
). - Click Remove.
- In the confirmation message, click OK.
