Setting Up Single Sign On (SSO)

Configure Single Sign On (SSO) for your tenant so that users can log in using their existing corporate credentials that are controlled by your identity provider. CxEngage supports most identity providers that support Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) 2.0. SSO can be used to access Skylight products and the configuration interface. After SSO is configured, you can deep link to a SSO login page.

Important notes:

  • You can't use SSO to directly access the CxEngage public REST API. If your application requires API access, we recommend using application keys.
  • CxEngage supports Service Provider (SP)-initiated SSO only. Identity Provider (IdP)-initiated SSO is not currently supported.

You must have the default Administrator role or a custom role with the IDENTITY_PROVIDERS_CREATE permission to add an identity provider to CxEngage.

To configure an identity provider, do the following:

  1. Configure Your SAML Identity Provider for Single Sign On
  2. Add Your Identity Provider to CxEngage
  3. Set a Default Single Sign On Identity Provider
