Modify Scoring Modes

You must have the default Administrator role or a custom role that includes the following permissions to modify a custom scoring made:

  • Quality > Evaluations > Full Control
  • Quality > Evaluation Forms > Full Control

The nature of modifying an answer set and a scoring distribution in a Scoring Mode can cause issues with a previously scored evaluation. If the answer set was used in multiple questions on multiple forms some may be Active and some may be In Use by an evaluator, then modifying the custom Scoring Mode may interrupt functioning evaluations. To secure evaluation forms, TelStrat has designed in fail safes when modifying and deleting Scoring Modes that only allow modification of Scoring Modes that aren’t already connected with a question.

RECOMMENDATION: Enghouse Interactive recommends copying the custom Scoring Mode desired and modify and rename it. This will preserve the integrity of any evaluation forms that might have already scored a question with the original Scoring Mode. Refer to Copy Scoring Modes for more information.
