Create Library Content
You must have the default Administrator or Supervisor role or a custom role that includes the Quality > E-Learning Library > Create permission to create E-Learning materials for the E-Learning Library.
To create new library content:
- From the Coaching & E-Learning > Library tab, select a folder to create new content in if this will be organized under. Refer to the Create Content Folders topic for detailed instructions on how to create a new library folder, if needed.
- Click on the New Content icon in the ribbon bar. A Create E-Learning Content window will pop-up. Enter the following:
- Title text box: Enter a name reflecting this material such s Agent Interaction Checklist.
- Content Type: The type of content is pre-populated by default. Learning Content identifies e-learning material. To change this type to a Coaching Session, create a Coaching Session from the Recordings tab.
- Only Owner can Modify checkbox: Check this box if ONLY the owner is allowed to make changes to the content.
- Private Content checkbox: Check this box if the content is considered private and not available for use at this time. Only the owner may see the content.
- Note text box: Optionally, a comment can be included with every new piece of learning content. In the Note text box, add any additional comments or descriptions about the library content. The text box supports up to 20,000 characters and can be expanded using the small two line triangle in the lower left-hand corner of the Notes text box.
- Attachments: There are two buttons to use to fetch and attach learning materials to content. Up to 10 files can be attached.:
- Paperclip icon: Click this icon to add any type of file as learning content to be uploaded from the local computer or a network drive.
- Globe and paperclip icon: Click this icon to add any type of file as learning content using a hyperlink to point to the material.
- Click on the Attachments (paper clip or globe and paperclip) icon to add any type of file as learning content.
- The E-Learning Content Attachment window will appear.
- Select Browse. The screen will switch to Windows dialog box.
- Locate, highlight and click Open on the file(s) to be used as e-learning content from the local computer or network drive. Any type of file can be used for e-learning content.
- The screen will return to the E-Learning Content Attachment pop-up window with the selected file or files listed.
- Click the Upload button to assign the file to the library content or click Clear to clear out the attachment and start again.
- Click on Close to exit the attachment screen and return to the Content screen

When finished uploading the E-Learning Content Attachment window will disappear and the attachment will be noted under the attachment section of the Create E-Learning Content window.
- To add another attachment, click on the Attachments icon and repeat the above steps.
- To delete the attachment, click on the X button next to the file name.
- When finished with the content, click OK to save the content to the folder selected. If the Title is a duplicate for this owner, then a pop-up warning will display “Title must be unique for current user.” and the save is rejected.
- To abandon changes, click Cancel and click Continue at the confirmation window.
