Assigning Message Templates

Before an agent can use a messaging template, it must be assigned to their user profile. Administrators or users with a custom role that includes the MANAGE_ALL_MESSAGE_TEMPLATES permission can assign templates to users.

To assign a message template to a user:

  1. Go to User Management > Users.
  2. Click on the name of the user that you are assigning the template(s) to.
    The user details panel appears.
  3. Click in the Add Message Template... field under Message Templates.
    A drop down appears with the list of available templates.
  4. Select the template that you want to add from the list, or type the name into the field and press Enter.
  5. Click the plus sign (Plus sign to assign a message template) next to the template name to add it to the user's profile.
  6. Repeat steps 3 through 5 for any additional templates that you want to add.
