Creating Custom Realtime Dashboards

When you design a custom dashboard, you can choose which widgets to visualize the realtime statistics and text that you want. In order to create a realtime dashboard, you must have one of the following roles:

  • Default Administrator
  • Custom with the MANAGE_ALL_REALTIME_DASHBOARDS permission

To create a realtime dashboard:

  1. Go to Reporting > Custom Realtime Dashboards.
  2. Click Create.
  3. Enter a Name for the dashboard.
  4. Click Submit.

    A blank canvas opens where you can design the dashboard.

  5. Click Add Widget.
  6. Configure the widget.
    • You can select one of the following widget types: statistic, label, table, or source switcher
    • Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required
  7. Click Submit.

    The widget is placed on the default location on the canvas.

  8. Drag and drop the widget on the desired location on the canvas.

    The gray shadow indicates where the widget will go when you drop it. You can adjust the size by dragging the edge or corner of the widget inward to make it smaller or outward to make it bigger.

  9. Repeat steps 6 to 8 to add more widgets.
  10. Click Save Dashboard.
     Dashboards don't automatically save. Save your work periodically as you build the custom dashboard.
  11. When you are done, publish the dashboard so that it shows up in the list of available dashboards for other users to see.
