List Types
List types define the type of data that is compiled in a list. The list type determines the fields that are included in the list, including their labels and the type of data such as text or numbers. After a list type is created, multiple lists of the same type can be created. For example, if a list type for Reason Codes exists in your tenant then you can have multiple lists of reason codes, such as one for each group or queue.
List types are created through the API by Platform Administrators. If a tenant has any child tenants, the children inherit the list types on the parent. If you need a new list type or updates to an existing list type, contact your Account Representative.
