Creating Flow Versions
Create multiple flow versions to test and refine a flow or to make flow variations to use in different campaigns. Instead of creating multiple flows that are similar, you can use flow versions to create variations of your flow and then change the active version as needed. A flow can only have one active version at a time. Creating a flow version also allows you to make edits to a published flow version.
To create a flow version:
- Go to Flows > Flows.
- Click the name of the flow that needs editing or a new version.
The flow detail panel opens. - Under Published Versions, click edit next to the version that you are updating.
- Enter a Name for the new draft.
This is a draft version name, not a flow name. You will be prompted to enter a version name and a flow name when publishing this draft version. - Click Submit.
The Flow Designer appears. - Make the desired flow changes.
- Publish the flow.
CxEngage adds the new version to the Published Versions list along with the version name and created date.
